It all began when our founder, Audra Gordon, met another color lover.
Love for Vibrant Colors
Their conversation about their shared love for vibrant clothing & her challenges finding size appropriate options as a taller expat in Hong Kong, sparked the idea of launching a fashion brand for color lovers of all size. Audra's love for vibrant clothing began at an early age while growing up on the Caribbean Islands of St. Vincent & the Grenadines with her grandmother who was a seamstress.
Aurora Collection
The Aurora Collection, was affectionately named to commemorate her late grandmother, Joycelyn Aurora & The Ermie Collection honors her great grandmother, Ermie Sam. The names of the adult pieces derived from the magnificent beaches of Africa since the brand idea was born while she traveled extensively across the African Continent. The kids designs get their names from the pristine beaches of the Caribbean. As an avid traveler, her vision is to create lightweight pieces that are versatile, timeless, & bold.

Our journey traveling across 26 countries in Africa has exposed us to the effects of textile waste & has profoundly influenced our brand direction. To eliminate dead stock, our solid colors are offered only in our brand colors which can be mixed & matched with each other or paired with our digitally printed fabrics in every collection.
All of our pieces are made to last using 100% natural fibers. Our tags & reusable packaging are made of natural or recycled materials. We design with extra seam allowance & adjustable elastic to allow you to adjust each piece for long-term use and to keep our pieces out of the landfills of Africa.
